Classic Carne Asada Tacos
The signature dish. Perfectly seasoned steak, grilled to perfection and served in warm tortillas.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank or skirt steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3-4 tablespoons Carnesazo All-Purpose Seasoning
- 1 large orange, juiced
- 2 limes, juiced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 12 corn tortillas
- Toppings: Diced white onion, extra cilantro, lime wedges, salsa
Instructions
In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine the olive oil, Carnesazo seasoning, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, and cilantro. Mix well.
Add the steak to the marinade, ensuring it's fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to 8 hours for maximum flavor.
Preheat your grill to high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it slightly dry. Discard the remaining marinade.
Grill the steak for 3-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on thickness. Adjust time for your desired doneness.
Let the steak rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a pan.
Serve the sliced carne asada on the warm tortillas, topped with diced onion, fresh cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and your favorite salsa.
